The Moraga Canyon Specific Plan (MCSP) team, made up of City staff and JZMK Partners, hosted a Community Workshop at Veterans Hall on Thursday, November 30, 2023, starting at 7 pm. Please click on the link below to view the Presentation Slides:
The MCSP is an initiative to study all City owned land in Moraga Canyon with a goal of creating a detailed plan for how to incorporate 132 units of new housing (60 of which would be reserved for households earning lower incomes), maintain and improve existing City facilities, open space, and recreational amenities, and improve traffic, ped/bike, and wildfire safety. The Community Workshop included approaches for development in Moraga Canyon.
There were over 1,100 responses to the Moraga Canyon Specific Plan community survey, which concluded on October 10, 2023. This survey marked the first of several opportunities over the next year for community members to inform the Moraga Canyon Specific Plan. Survey results were presented at the Community Workshop.
